Noella (pictured here between Leimawa and Salome) is 17 years old and is the daughter of Sam and Leimawa, Christians in Etas village. She has often attended worship services, fellowships, women’s gatherings and nearly any program available. Wanting to know more about God’s Word and, especially baptism, I took the opportunity to study with her. For several weeks in October and November we met often throughout the week to study what God’s plan is for our lives. We discovered how God indeed had a plan before the creation of the world, how that plan included Christ and His church and how being a part of God’s plan is a special thing.

Being a shy Ni-Vanuatu lady, Noella wanted to be baptized following the conclusion of our studies. She had written down sins she had committed in her life and wanted desperately to have Christ wash them away. In short, she wanted forgiveness from God.

On November 29th, Noella put on Christ in baptism. Let the angels rejoice.
