I first met Wallace Andre (left middle) when I was introduced to him as the foreman hired to oversee the building project in Epau village. He is 70 years old, but still very active. He was one of the first locals invited to visit our Gospel Meeting, and he came every night.

Having never been a very religious man, Wallace was very excited to hear the gospel message for the first time. On Wednesday night following the meeting, he approached Eddie and said he was ready to be baptized, to be added to the church of Christ. I talked with him briefly, and we then went down to the river where Arthur (right middle) baptized him into Christ for the forgiveness of a life-time of sins.

I was grateful that Morris spent the entire week in Epau during the meeting, and was thus able to meet with Wallace to study and encourage him for the first few days (think older brother looking out for his new baby brother, spiritually speaking). Wallace is primed and ready to grow. Please pray that this task will be accomplished.
